Turning a house into a smart home…

Property Improvement Enterprises knows how to turn a house into a home, but did you know we also know how to make a house smarter?

As we put the finishing touches on our Springvale Road project, we’ve been hard at work making it a Smart Home -- the latest in home technology and the easiest way to integrate all of your devices like your Amazon Echo or Google Home Mini. 

Turning Springvale into a Smart Home was an easy decision, made even easier when we decided to work with Lutron Caseta Smart Living products. Lutron Caseta works with all the major tech vendor platforms including Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assist. 

So why did we choose Caseta over all the other smart home products? Here’s a rundown:

Personalization: you can add personalized scenes to control your lights and shades together at the touch of a button. For example, you can create a “movie” scene that dims your lights and lowers shades when your movie begins.

Geofencing: The geofencing feature controls lights based on your location. For example, your geolights can turn off when you walk out the front door in the morning, and they can also turn on for you when you get home from work. 

Scheduling: Schedule your lights and shades to adjust automatically at certain times of the day. Turn your front lights on at sunset and turn them off at sunrise.   

On top of the Caseta Smart Home features, we’ve also added a Ring Door-bell and remote chime, so if a car pulls into the driveway or a fox decides to walk in-front of the home at 5:30am (see picture below)...you’ll get an alert to your phone.

Finally, we installed a GE Profile Smart Range double oven which has Wifi connect built-in so you can voice activate. Has cooking ever been easier? Probably not.
