Hampton Road Updates Pt. 2

Hampton Road Gets A Makeover

The Latest At Our Hampton Road Property...

Our Hampton Road property is complete and on the market as of last week. This beautiful house is a DREAM home for it’s future owners, and we’re thrilled to share with you the latest construction updates! From demo to fresh paint, we’re walking you through Hampton Roads makeover!

Demo

What’s more fun than demo day? Our team worked up a sweat removing the wall mirrors in the living room, dining room and master bedroom. They completed a full demotion of the three bathrooms in the upper level of the home as well as the kitchenette and bathroom on the lower level. From there, they removed the wood paneling in the lower level (which was a whopping 2,000 square feet!). Finally, all the deck boards and railing from the second level of the deck was removed.

Walls, Trim & Railing

Our team continues to give this lovely property a facelift with freshly painted walls and trim throughout the house. We chose an off-white color with white trim, including a slightly warmer tone in the kitchen and family room. We also picked a subtle mint tone in a few of the bathrooms and light grey in the additional rooms. For a stunning contrast, we used black and white railing and stairs.

Floors

Property Improvement Enterprises loves the look of hardwood floors, so we decided to refinish Hampton’s existing hardwood floors on the main level and even installed new hardwood in the kitchen, family room and upper hall. We chose to stain the floors in English Chestnut for a rich look. Additionally, we installed new carpet in all 5 bedrooms with a gorgeous light shade. We also installed grey/beige LVP in the lower level.

Lighting

Our team installed new matte black lighting fixtures and brass knobs on the main and lower level hallways. We also installed brushed nickel hardware and lighting fixtures in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Bathrooms

We FULLY redesigned the spacious bathrooms to all 5 bedrooms. We added a freestanding tub and shower in the master bedroom, along with white cabinets with carrera marble countertops and a fine selection of grey, white and black tiles in the upper level bathrooms. Finally, we added glass paneling to all 4 showers.

 Kitchen

We refinished the cabinets in two beautiful off-white tones, added dental molding to match the main level trim and replaced the faucet and fridge!

 Master Suite

This master suite is a dream! Our team redesigned the master bathroom with a 72” double vanity, freestanding tub and shower in the master bathroom. We also created a sweet sitting room and spacious walk-in closet.

 Lower Level

We completely redesigned the walk-out lower level to accommodate a media room, recreation room, exercise room, and one bedroom with a bathroom. This space now has 3 doors to access  the lower level deck and backyard, plus espresso and carrera marble wet bar with beverage fridge. The lower level also boasts a wine cellar or laundry!

 Deck

Our team replaced lumber on the two-level deck, painted in light grey and white railing. We installed LED pole lighting -- perfect for entertaining in the evenings!

 Garage

We painted the walls, ceiling and floors of the attached and detached garages. We also added new door openers on all 4 garage doors!

 Exterior & Landscaping

Finally, we gave Hampton a beautiful face-lift with fresh exterior paint and new landscaping. We also repaired the outdoor sheds and replaced windows to make it look brand-new!

Of all the Hampton Road Updates we’ve shared so far, what’s your favorite?!
